First Day Back

We had a very successful first day back to school!  There were lots of smiles and NO tears!  That makes for an easier day for everyone.  We got all of the supplies put away and read books together.  Today we read The Night Before First Grade and The Kissing Hand.  These led to some great discussions about friends.  We have a great mix of students in class.  There were quiet kids, shy kids, outgoing kids and life-of-the-party kids in our class!  I can't wait to get to know everyone as the year gets started!
